Junior Payroll Co-ordinator

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £16,000

Location: Howden

Job Summary

To assist in achieving the department objectives in line with the corporate strategy and vision for which the job holder is directly responsible, and continuously improve performance.

The role of the Junior Payroll Coordinator is to assist with the weekly and monthly payments to Ebuyer/Wren employees as well as all relevant documentation associated with the role.

The ideal candidate must have a good head for figures and be able to work to tight deadlines.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Check times input by supervisors amending any late starters, early leavers, sickness, maternity, holidays, authorised absences, unauthorised absences and check up on obvious mistakes
  • Check all holidays and sickness against the Absence/Holiday list from Human Resources. Inform HR of any differences that need to be rectified
  • Check all starters and leavers from the weekly HR report to ensure that the appropriate amount is paid to employees, and that no overpayments are made to leavers
  • Assist with the effective running of weekly and monthly payrolls, updating of all payroll files - process starters, leavers, SSP, SMP, changes forms, pay increases, passed probation forms, P45s, P46s, and pay advances
  • Print all payslips and check through carefully, making any necessary amendments
  • Distribute payslips after printing
  • Liaise with Inland Revenue, Job Centre, CSA, Courts, Councils and Agencies on a regular basis
  • Liaise with the company HR department in order to appropriately address any problems or queries that may arise
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in the workplace
  • Adhere to procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and materials associated with the role

Pre Sales and Technical Support Team Leader

Hours: 40 hours per week plus any overtime required

Salary: £17,000

Location: Howden

Responsible to Customer Operations Manager

Job Summary

To achieve the department objectives in line with the corporate strategy and vision for which the job holder is directly responsible, and continuously improve performance.

The role of the Customer Support Team Leader is to coordinate and manage the groups in order to achieve excellent customer support via phone, e-mail, letter, enote and the internal electronic system. The Team Leader is responsible for decision making on behalf of the two teams to ensure that their department operates quickly and efficiently, meeting all targets set by the Customer Support Manager. In order to accomplish this objective, Team Leaders are involved in the recruitment and training of new employees, to ensure the best possible team is selected. Regular one-to-one meetings with those in their team help to maintain a motivated and productive workforce.

The quality and performance of the teams must also be recorded, along with call statistics and weekly reports. This allows specific, achievable goals to be set for both teams as a whole.

Duties and responsibilities

  • The recruitment of new staff & evaluation of CVs, interviewing, candidate selection process
  • The training of new staff and the on-going training of existing team members (call coaching, silent monitoring, appraisals)
  • Regular 1-2-1s with team members, motivational activities and any disciplinary action required
  • Quality monitoring
  • Weekly meetings to rectify queries and set measurable objectives
  • The full organisation of workload
  • Supporting and dealing with queries from both teams
  • Write accurate records of call statistics (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Write and presenting a weekly activity report to the Customer Support Manager

Resolution Advisor (Handling Complaints)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £16,000

Location: Howden

Responsible to Customer Support Manager

Job Summary

To achieve the department objectives in line with the corporate strategy and vision for which the job holder is directly responsible, and continuously improve performance.

The role of the Resolution Advisor is to provide excellent customer support via phone, e-mail, letter and the internal electronic system. In order to achieve this, Resolution Advisors must liaise with internal departments, as well as couriers, suppliers and the HM Court Service. The main objective of those in the position is to achieve a response time of 24 - 48 hours to all correspondence and complaints, in order to maintain effective customer support and a satisfied consumer market. However, if complaints are not resolved successfully and County Court claims are submitted by Ebuyer customers these need to be responded to with appropriate action taken in line with the companies policies.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide the highest level of Customer Support via phones, email, letter and the internal electronic system
  • Respond to all customer correspondence within the SLA
  • Carry out independent research and investigation to help attain customer satisfaction
  • Take steps to resolve the customer queries and complaints by contacting internal departments, couriers and suppliers
  • Deal with complaint emails and letters
  • Correctly process all incoming County Court documents in line with the company procedure
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public
  • Maintain a consistent and professional attitude
  • Take on additional duties when required by your Manager.
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in the workplace

Technical Support Advisor

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £16,000

Location: Howden

Responsible to Head of Customer Operations

Job Summary

To offer technical advice and support to customers via inbound calls as well as other electronic communication. You will need to be forward thinking and find a resolution for every return request received by customers.

Along with this you must provide customers with an excellent customer service at all times, this will be coupled with the task of meeting customer needs by providing support under the current Customer Support Model

Duties and responsibilities

  • Indentify the customer's reason for return; acknowledge opportunities to provide technical support to the customer with an aim to avoid products from being returned
  • Promote the advantages of products being returned direct to the manufacturer staying within the distance selling regulations
  • Respond to inbound queries by offering technical guidance on Ebuyer products
  • Take steps to resolve customer queries and complaints by contacting internal departments as well as couriers and suppliers
  • Respond to all customer correspondence within the SLA
  • Project a positive image of Ebuyer and the department at all times
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in the workplace
  • Adhere to procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and materials associated with the role
  • Maintain a consistent and professional attitude
  • Take on additional duties when required by your Manager if possible.

Credit Controller

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £14,000 (£15,000 after 3 months probation)

Location: Howden

Responsible to Fraud Supervisor

Job Summary

To achieve the department objectives in line with the corporate strategy and vision for which the job holder is directly responsible, and continuously improve performance.

The role of the Credit Controller is to ensure that potential Ebuyer business customers can be granted credit accounts when purchasing goods. This involves but is not limited to dealing with the Facflow system, processing credit applications, checking the verification of potential business customers, certifying that payment is taken and liaising with the company Fraud Analyst.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Connect all versions of Facflow
  • Upload company invoices and address any errors that may arise
  • Print batch invoices for filing and review
  • Organise and answer any emails that have been received overnight, as well as those received during office hours
  • Answer any disputes from Ebuyer's chosen bank. These must be logged before a response is sent out
  • Organise and process all credit applications
  • Check that the company in question is listed on the FAME database, yell.com and Company House, making sure that the details match with the application
  • Take responsibility for the decision to progress with the application or not
  • Make a courtesy call to the applicant in question and once all details are checked and accounted for they must be sent to the company Fraud Analyst
  • Record all validated applications on Facflow
  • Connect to Facflow and export data on a regular basis
  • Process any credit increases
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in the workplace
  • Adhere to procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and materials associated with the role
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge in order to effectively perform the role.

Business to Business Sales Executive

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £15,000 plus commission

Location: Howden

Responsible to Business to Business Sales Manager

Job Summary

To achieve the department objectives in line with the corporate strategy and vision for which the job holder is directly responsible, and continuously improve performance.

The role of the B2B Sales Executive is to prospect and develop new and existing opportunities via outbound telesales activity, by targeting small, medium and large business customers. This can be accomplished through the use of outbound calls in order to build relationships with potential customers, securing their interest in the products Ebuyer has to offer and closing deals to produce revenue and profit.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls at a level agreed with the Sales Team Leader and/or Sales Manager
  • Meet talk time levels as agreed with the Sales Team Leader and/or Sales Manager
  • Offer quotations to potential business customers
  • Maintain cooperative and productive inter-departmental relationships and procedures in order to deliver exceptional customer services at all times
  • Identify and close opportunities for value added services sales e.g. configuration, installation and leasing
  • Liaise with suppliers for product information and E.T.A.s
  • Offer technical support for IT products whenever possible
  • Take personal responsibility for and actively engage in product, system and skills training and development
  • Take responsibility for determining and satisfying the needs of accounts, ensuring client satisfaction as the basis for further business
  • Produce revenue and profit in line with company and individual targets
  • Encourage clients to visit and use the website
  • Order input to the Ebuyer sales order processing system within Ebuyer policy and procedure
